Before there was iMessage and Google Hangout, there was BBM. It was the original private messaging app that requires a PIN code to access the recipient. After smart phones began making a credible statement in the cellular world, Blackberry quietly built it’s smart phone years later. I am assuming upon realizing it still was not a major contender, it created the mobile application and released it to both Apple and Google’s stores. No one would have imagined what would happen next.
Within 8 hours, there were over 5 million registrations registered. It’s database became so flooded, they have to send you an email once they can fit you in. Who would have thought? After all of these years, BBM is still relevant. Register your email, wait for your access code, and get on board! You’ll likely become apart of the largest messaging network yet. Don’t believe me? Just watch.
